About the portable (green) version
The portable "green" builds are the .zip downloads above. They need no installation, write nothing to the registry and require no administrator rights — just extract and run.
- No installer and no admin rights — extract the .zip anywhere, including a USB drive.
- Nothing is written to the Windows registry; delete the folder to fully remove it.
- Settings are stored next to the executable, so your configuration travels with it.
- Does not register file associations. Use an Installer build if you want Void as your default viewer.

Download & install FAQ
Void is open source and unsigned by some AV heuristics, which can trigger false positives. Verify the SHA256 checksum below and cross-check the VirusTotal report. You can also build from source on GitHub.
The current builds are 64-bit only. Older 32-bit releases are not hosted on this mirror — get them from the official GitHub releases page.
Every past release is listed under Previous versions with its own installer, portable build and checksum.
